With over nine years of experience in commercial real estate, specializing in multifamily development, land acquisition, and underwriting, Eric brings a proven track record of delivering high-value projects and innovative strategies to the Wangard team.
Eric will oversee Wangard Partners' development pipeline — including multifamily, industrial, and mixed-use — driving strategic growth and ensuring projects align with the firm's commitment to quality, sustainability, and market excellence. In his previous role, Eric either sourced or entitled 15 new multifamily communities representing 4,000 units and $700 million in development costs.
During Eric's previous tenure as Vice President of Acquisitions at a national real estate development firm, he spearheaded the sourcing and approval of seven multifamily development opportunities, totaling 2,073 units and approximately $500 million in development costs across Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Iowa, Kansas, and Kentucky. As head of his previous ProjectLeadership Team, Eric managed all aspects of the project lifecycle, from market research and land acquisition to design, permitting, and lease-up. He consistently delivered results that met rigorous financial and strategic objectives.
Previously, Eric led a team responsible for 19 multifamily developments, comprising 4,332 units and $953 million in total development costs. His expertise in securing entitlements, managing due diligence, and negotiating complex agreements ensured seamless project execution. Earlier roles as Development Associate and Land Planner further honed his skills in site planning, financial modeling, and stakeholder relationship management, contributing to over $1.6 billion in multifamily and retail developments throughout his career.
Eric is an active member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) Emerging Leaders program, reflecting his commitment to advancing the industry.
